    Gamecaster Cybercam S3
    Revolutionary Virtual Camera Control

Gamecaster's patented GCS3 virtual camera control technology consists of a motion sensor, HD color viewfinder and two proprietary thumbstick controls, which mount to a tripod fluidhead and panbars. The GCS3 can also be mounted to a Steadicam® or a shoulder mount for hand-held operation.

The GCS3 virtual camera control is a replica of a real-world video camera. However, the GCS3 viewfinder does not display the real world but a virtual world generated by a computer. Using the GCS3, camera operators are able to use the same skills and methods of controlling a real camera to smoothly pan, tilt, truck, crane, and zoom the lens of a virtual camera within a virtual environment created with Autodesk Maya® or video game engines.

The GCS3 enhances the production process of motion picture previsualization, visual effects, long format and episodic 3D animation by enabling digital layout artists to overcome current limitations and workflow issues, and produce cinematic live action-style shots in real-time with the precision and fluidity that a real camera operated by a human camera person offers. GCS3 users can produce better content quicker and more affordably.

The GCS3 also enhances the production process of video game cinematics, commercials and tournament broadcasts. Using the GCS3, sports camera operators can shoot the action at video game tournaments on the video game's playing field, from within the game itself. This remarkable advance enables directors to block multiple camera operators within the game during battles and call an in-game multicamera live switch consistent with standards used in real-life broadcasts.

Gamecaster was a gold sponsor of the Hollywood and Games Summit June 26-27, 2007, where live demos of the GCS3 virtual camera control technology were given. Please click the "Licensing" link below to request a private live demo.
